  • Overview

    The individual in this position is responsible for working with small teams for short term and long term projects, managing implantation of ACA software products across investment management clients. The person will work closely with our product teams, clients, manage project delivery, and track project budgets.

     ACA’s software products offers wide variety of functionality for our clients, including Order Management, Portfolio Management, Data Warehouse, Security Master, Pricing Master, Compliance, Regulatory Reporting, and Trade Surveillance capabilities for firms in the financial services industry

    Responsibilities

    • Lead technology implementation projects for key Buy-side clients
    • Working in agile environment, software releases to production every two weeks to deliver new features and functionality
    • Identify, manage, resolve, and track client issues as they arise, using various agile development toolsets such as Confluence, Jira
    • Meet with business end users to establish requirements for successful construction and design of effective applications
    • Manage project scope, and delivery
    • Provide the leadership, interpersonal and people management skills necessary to ensure the success of client engagements
    • Maintain procedural documentation and update as necessary
    • Constantly evaluate process and procedures for inefficiencies, and make recommendations for improvement, and drive them through with stakeholders

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; computer science, information technology, math, or related field preferred
    • Experience within the asset management or alternative asset management industry
    • Minimum of 4 years of professional development experience on win form applications
    • Minimum of 3 years of managing one or more projects from development through Production
    • Experience in building and deploying n-tier and services based financial service applications
    • Working knowledge of database concepts and SQL is required
    • Professional experience in web application development is a plus
    • Experience with version control (Git), agile development toolkit (Jira, Confluence), and best practices is preferred
    • Experience in Bitbucket, continuous integration (TeamCity), automated deployment and release management (Octopus) is a plus
    • Experience with Tableau, SQL Server Reporting Services is a plus
