    Director of Client Development - Cybersecurity & Risk - Aponix - Europe

    Aponix, ACA's Cybersecurity & Risk practice group, was named "Best Global Cyber Security Advisor" by Hedgeweek Magazine and "Due Diligence Firm of the Year" by M&A Advisor. Aponix is looking for a Director of Client Development to lead business development and sales efforts for the practice group in the UK/Europe market. Aponix provides cybersecurity risk assessments, network testing, penetration testing, WISP, training, data privacy and GDRP advising to our clients.

     

    Position Objective:

    This position is responsible for proactively identifying and developing sales opportunities for ACA/Aponix products and services in the UK and Europe. This position is also responsible for working with ACA/Aponix’s Sales and Marketing teams to develop sales and marketing strategies as well as identify and assist with developing new products and services.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and respond to requests for bid and proposal opportunities on behalf of ACA/Aponix
    • Devise selling techniques to drive the business forward and create a large volume of prospects and inquiries
    • Lead and coordinate all aspects of the sales process to guide prospect opportunities to successful close
    • Manage a sales pipeline of pending opportunities and outstanding engagement agreements
    • Professionally and confidently present ACA/Aponix offerings, services, and pricing to financial services industry prospects and clients
    • Negotiate engagement terms with prospects and clients
    • Provide support to ACA/Aponix’s consulting team to amend revenue and budgets as necessary for successful completion of projects
    • Assist with ACA/Aponix’s marketing efforts, including participation in conferences and creation and maintenance of marketing materials 
    • Assist with the identification and development of new product and service offerings
    • Improve sales performance by training and familiarizing other ACA personnel with service offerings, CRM system, and sales process
    • Partner with ACA/Aponix executives on business development priorities and key sales initiatives
    • Meet or exceed sales and other business development goals
    • Enhance ACA industry partner relationships to generate additional sales
    • Understand the market, competition, and trends for compliance services
    • Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support ACA on various client and internal initiatives

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred – major or concentration in business, finance, or related field preferred
    • Previous sales experience and experience with the regulatory compliance or financial services industries preferred
    • Entrepreneurial attitude with the proven ability to negotiate, influence, deal effectively and successfully close sales
    • Astute in identifying and exploiting new business opportunities within specific niches of the market
    • Experience developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for market creation, penetration, and protection
    • Demonstrated professional integrity
    • Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs
    • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment
    • Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
    • Highly motivated and goal oriented; proactive in one’s own education and career progression; volunteers for and shows initiative on both internal and external projects and tasks
    • Dedicated to upholding ACA’s high quality standards and customer service focus
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail  
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and the Internet
    • Willing to travel – up to 25 percent
    • Available for client work and/or travel Monday through Friday on a general basis, including outside of normal business hours and/or weekends
